Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of Is The Best Hospital (“ITBH”, “we”, “us” or “our”), including its hospital listings, hospital workspaces, content-management tools and social media publishing features. By accessing or using ITBH, you agree to these terms.

1. The ITBH service

ITBH helps people discover healthcare providers and gives authorised hospital teams tools to manage hospital information, doctors, media, enquiries and digital marketing activities. ITBH is a technology and information service. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment or emergency services.

2. Accounts and authority

You must provide accurate information, protect your login credentials and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorised access. If you act for a hospital or another organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to manage its information and connected accounts. Hospital administrators are responsible for granting and removing staff access.

3. Hospital and professional information

Hospitals and their authorised users are responsible for the accuracy, legality and currency of information they submit, including doctor credentials, photographs, contact details, claims and health content. ITBH may review, suspend, correct or remove content that is misleading, unlawful, unsafe or inconsistent with platform requirements.

4. Facebook and Instagram connections

When an authorised user connects Facebook or Instagram, ITBH receives only the access and information approved during Meta authorisation. This may include managed Page identifiers and names, a linked Instagram professional account identifier and username, permissions and access tokens needed to provide the requested publishing features.

You may only connect accounts that you are authorised to manage. Your use of Facebook and Instagram remains subject to Meta's own terms and policies. Meta may change or withdraw its services, permissions or availability independently of ITBH.

5. Content and publishing

You retain responsibility for content you upload, approve, schedule or publish. You grant ITBH the limited permission needed to store, process, display and transmit that content to provide the service. You must not publish unlawful, infringing, deceptive or harmful material, patient information without valid authority, or medical claims that lack appropriate review.

6. Privacy and deletion

We process account and connected-platform information as described in our Privacy Policy. Instructions for requesting removal of Facebook and Instagram data are available on our Data Deletion page.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep ITBH available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may change as the platform, applicable law or third-party services evolve. We may update these terms and will publish the revised effective date on this page.

8. Suspension and termination

We may restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, address security risks, prevent misuse or enforce these terms. You may stop using ITBH and request account or connected-platform data deletion at any time.

9. Disclaimer and responsibility

Public healthcare information on ITBH is for general discovery purposes and is not a substitute for professional medical advice. To the extent permitted by law, ITBH is not responsible for decisions made solely from public listings or for acts, omissions or content of independent hospitals, professionals or third-party platforms.
